After stress from years of being in business  started to make me sick (I didn’t want to depend on my government to survive), I set out to completely change my life, as a writer, artist and novelist, to go back to my roots, the arts. I have found a way around bad health, and a bad economy, to become independent.

Giving up my previous life to travel the country, after losing my business and my home, I began my venture. On my own, with no money or help from a publicist, with no agent, or manager and no guarantees, I set out to make it happen. On December 8th 2008, I left Michigan with a story, $130.00 and 80 books. My family thought that I was nuts.

I have met so many new friends and set up book signings all over the country, emails from cheering fans encouraged me along the way. I have been with the rich and the poor, experiencing how all of humanity acquires the tools needed to endure this marathon we call life. Creativity rules the day as everyone struggles to survive around the country.  My personal experience included living with the homeless down in Key West, Florida for five weeks, an adventure that has provided inspiration for a fourth book in the works.  This rich new life has made me become a great inspirational speaker, reinventing myself.

If you would like to donate to the arts in a direct way and help fund my trip, or sponsor my art, and my writing, then please click below and you will go to my PayPal. Any help you can give would be appreciated greatly. Help me get the word out, help me study people, write about them and paint them.

I am looking for future places to speak and to show my art and do book signings. If you know of an opening to be filled for a guest speaker please email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

Please find a referral letter from a Rotary Club President in the Inspirational Speaker section of this web site. Let me know if we can help each other entertain and inform our mutual friends.

Thanks… Weston
